Possible mods?
I dunno if anyone (or even nobody for that matter! ) bothers to mod DXMP anymore, hence why I put this in spam, but I was thinking of a couple of possible mods the other day, and thought I should at least put the ideas out there.
1. A good mod might be a little something I have already (:D) dubbed TypeGodding. Basically a mod to make you invincible while typing, eliminating the whole TK problem. Also could be made to be active while MapVoting. Would be active as long as the command line is active. "What's to stop people using that as a cheat?" you ask? You can't move while the command line is active, nor can you shoot.
Upsides:
1. No more TK!
2. No more "accidental" AFK kills.
3. You can take more time over typing messages, so on mroe mesasges seplt liek tihs.
Downsides:
I can't think of any, but you guys probably can, so thoughts comments etc please.
2. Some sort of mod to detect people playing with the wrong skin, i.e. UNATCO when it should be NSF, and that changes it automatically to the correct skin.
Upsides:
1. No more confusion during fights.
Downsides:
None.
Now, I'm no coder, so maybe my suggestions are complete bs from a coding perspective, but I thought I'd at least put the idea out there as, if you don't try, you don't know.
Feel free to comment.

good idea if the mod is announced on the server... no more trying to find cover before you say something. but idk if it can be done.

HELL NO. Are you *loving* insane? It's possible to move whilst talking. Also it would be easy as *love* to hack that metabolic end product with a bind. Without looking too much into it it would look something like this:
W=MoveForward|Talk|Escape|MoveForward. Or something like that for each of the directional keys meaning that it spams the talk command causing you to be constantly God Mode'd.
Sounds teh shite.

Hmm, good point there Spaz, but I didn't know you could confuse the ini like that. That's some major binding there.
EDIT: A late w007! on my 300th post.....
EDIT 2: There might be a way around the whole spam the say bind thing Spaz, maybe include an update to server programming that kicks excessive spamming of the same commands over and over again?

Skil, he says no, because then he can't make the hax bind he suggested.

I don't think that a good anti-tk mod can be made. There are always going to be disadvantages.
There's a mod that places a cloud above your head when you're typing. The most important disadvantage is that if you're somewhere dark and typing, your cover will be exposed thus making you an easy target. Doesn't matter wether the enemy decides to kill you or not, you're no longer safe.
This godded anti-TK mod can be abused and hacked as Spaz said.
