DXMP_Dressing_Room
DXMP_Dressing_Room and DXMP_CTF_Dressing_Room are based on the Urban Terror map of the same name, although there are differences, such as the ladders which I added as we cannot climb ledges in DXMP. Also I wanted the map to have that Deus Ex touch so it is set at night unlike the original map. This small map is suitable for 0 augs and has twenty player starts.

Looks nice! I don't think anyone is going to use the side ledges in DXMP, it makes you a really easy target, unlike in Urban Terror, where you can blitz right trough it.

Thanks Kuchcik, you make a good point, although if you are decent you can survive longer, I've added ammocrates there so you can hold the ledge area if you are good enough. Originally I added ramps instead of ladders but it was very messy looking.

I remember this map from UrT, good times.. are you planning to make more of those? I think I liked the one with the swimming pool.

Yeah I'm currently building Turnpike: http://dxmp.freeforums.org/dxmp-turnpike-t20.html
I'm open to suggestions for other maps, I've made a section on my forums for that purpose. The swimming pool map is alot of fun, it's called Swim, it's also called another name but the name escapes me (Kuchcik will know). I think swim is a little too big for DXMP though.

Turnpike? it will take some time to get it at a decent beta level, we really could use a beta server. I can't host, maybe I need to port forward.

Re: DXMP_Dressing_Room
I think there are plenty of people wanting to host new stuff at the moment. I'm back to square one, quit my job and am looking for a better one. I didn't fancy a £50k fine for teaching people to use a code to bypass the "telephone preference system" and call people who don't want calls.
These types of maps are always good, every CS map ever ported has always been hugely popular.

I'm one of those people on the "not to call" list, so you done a very good thing, I would of told them to go fook themselves. I'm working on some CS maps too.ShadowRunner wrote:I think there are plenty of people wanting to host new stuff at the moment. I'm back to square one, quit my job and am looking for a better one.
