Well, you would die if someone kept shooting you in the legs. The sheer shock to system of repeated impacts like that, not to mention the large amount of blood loss from the femoral artery.....

death depends entirely on your current health. leg shots take 17%-33%, 50% with SR8.

i have no idea what the femoral artery is, but i'm guessing it's the main artery that runs through your thighs or summit.

other than that, i refuse to believe i can die from being hit in legs alone, well maybe i can but it would take hours, not to say days (when gangreen kicks in etc.)

haha well in 4.0 sr8 was a killing machine, so they added the unzoom to give a chance to the autos
but sr8 had 3 ammo in magazine back then
in 4.2 they will remove the unzoom, but only for legs

You are correct, it's the main blood vessel through your legs. Allow me to elaborate:

You get shot in the legs, two scenarios occur (in reality):

1. You bandage the wound(s) and stop the bleeding, but your mobility is severely decreased due to the injury(ies). If someone were to keep shooting you in the legs, you'd probably pass out due to the pain and shock, at which point they would probably just kill you.

2. You can't bandage the wound(s), and die from blood loss in a matter of minutes. Assuming the artery was hit. Which is pretty likely.

That's my two cents anyway.....

Human body is a complicated structure. Getting shot in the head or heart is not the only way to die fast. The amount of blood is limited and if an important artery is damaged, you lose blood. Without a certain amount of blood you die.
