My Security Engine

I got one of those fake virus scanner things on my pc. Giving fake warnings and trying to force me to buy a full version of "My Security Engine". Need to get rid, please help? :3

That's most likely a malware scanner.

As in.. it scans for malware and if it doesn't find some, it adds some.
A straight format C: will get you out of it.

Anyway.. DUN BROWSE THAT MUCH PR0N, DEN U DUN GET DAT! ;-)


ON a serious note.. I'd look for the talk, kill it, then erase all windows registry entries that are related to it and remove the executable.

or you can try to use http://www.malwarebytes.org/ its a nice anti malware and it will even find infected svchosts :)

Start your PC in safe mode, find the folder where the exe is. "data applications"? can't remember right now. Rename the exe. Then you should be able to gain control of your PC again.

It wasn't in data applications, I had looked there. And yes, I have hidden folders on show, lol.

It's fixed anyway like I said.
