Conditionless!!! WHAT. I think then, the best bet would be to write replacement weapon classes with the firing function Supered into them manually and conditions added in. Would this approach work by writing a replacer mutator to override the defaults? Because if so, Kai can probably help with this...

Didn't Dejavu do that in the latest miniMTL? The weapons checked the rate of fire server-side to prevent cheating.

No. It shouldn't affect fire rate or make one bullet register as two. It should just make your shots on the server match more closely to what you see on your screen. If something weird is happening then maybe the guns weren't properly programmed to work with different tickrates.

The significant thing you will notice with a higher tickrate is better hit registration. With the default tickrate, the server will only receive updates of your crosshair location 20 times a second. It also has the effect of adding 1/20th of a second (50ms) to your latency. Also, DX doesn't have lag...

Don't give up so easy! I can tell from the recursion error that your mover is doubled, the map is bugged. Can probably be fixed by deleting and re-adding the glitched movers. This map shows how to set up a ProjectileGenerator to shoot a projectile when triggered. Gravity doesn't affect rockets over practical distances so this would work in altfire too.

Don't rockets go straight? Is your rocket arcing? Are you placing it directly in the map or are you using DeusEx.ProjectileGenerator?

I have done recording tests with both DXTory and Open Broadcast(er?) Software programs and I can tell you that if you set a 120 fps limit then there are more frames available, say between 15-30 frames get eaten by DXtory. Example: for a 30 fps Youtube video (640 x 480 x 32 res), I'll still get 80-9...

@anax It doesn't work that way. If your fps dips below 60 fps, it will do so regardless of your limit. Your fps during a dip in performance isn't 120-X or 60-X, it's the max fps your computer can handle. There is no acceleration/deceleration factor of fps, so having extra unseen frames won't help.
