Doesn't in SP. It causes oxygen deficiency. In MP oxygen deficiency was never properly coded in, much like other elements such as the stun effect of the prod, as it was entirely useless. In turn the modified unrealengine gets confused and somewhere a glitch in the code says FIRE IS WHATS HAPPENING and sets all parties that would normally receive oxygen depravation on fire. Not useless, I suggested years ago that medics in AG should have some way of paralyzing/stunning the enemy

Best stun would be a dramatic decrease of movement and rotation rates for a couple seconds. I think Jim Bowen made a sort of stun grenade that forced feigndeath upon players.

In standard, well balenced, ATDM/BTDM gameplay, fire extinguisher and prod wouldn't be too much help. :P

You should be able to throw the prod at distant targets.

maybe it could also fire out some kind of electricity jet, alt ammo would be emp grenades so prod turns into grenade launcher of a kind. also, to balance its difficulty: when ever the prod is out the wielder should get a small health and bio regen.
if your lowtech skill is high enough i dont see why it shouldnt function as multitool as well, zap the electronics and whoop. obviously since its light you should be able to move faster too, like with knife in css.
