A little update: added in spawn points and completed areas of the map. It will be a small map, beta testing to begin very shortly

I haven't decided. I would like to do something underground, because that is very Deus Ex, but access is difficult to most places. I might do the bunkers under Dover Castle, or a car park. Possibly Hotel Landerneau, but I would prefer to do something I can actually see on a daily basis if necessary.
Don't worry too much about that, the rules on realism are loose offering plenty of room for maneuvre. My Greenwich map is what I'm referring to as the standard for this, I modelled Greenwich Railroad Station (Connecticut) despite not having been there in many years, plus there were some elements from today (modelling from Google Maps, possibly some things there in 2012 not there before) and 10+ years ago (the triangular power lines for the trains, which were replaced track-by-track, starting about 2000 ending about 2004, putting that aspect of the map 2002.) (I would have gone all retro and used the triangular wires for all four tracks but that didn't work). There were other inconsitencies as well, such as roads I had to straighten and buildings I had to skip. Bottom line is that you don't need a daily refreshed memory to make something a super-accurate reflection. A good general memory of the place plus photos etc from any source should provide enough material to make a reasonable facimilie (sp) plus provide evidence of the location. Again, you don't have to get it 100% accurate model of the place because few players are going to care - the other aspects of playability (atmosphere, balance, good features, the WOW factor) are more important.

Wee update on the map, I WAS going to upload it and call it complete but I've decided to hold that off until next weekend when I will hand my final copy in. I've decided to add another section onto the map due to it being abit small, the new section being a courtyard where the prisoners congregate. Ill be glad to see the end of this map and get back to finishing my Assault map and RoD.
