Star Trek - Postby ShadowRunner » 10 Mar 2012, 14:18

I've always thought Star Trek was rubbish. Too young for the original series, too old for DS9 and Voyager, only Wrath of Khan and the latest movie were actually good. Just spent 3 days watching all 11 movies, and about 30 episodes from OS, NG, Voyager and Enterprise. I even watched the pilot episode where Spock is the only recognisable actor.

I'm starting to like Enterprise series, besides the sexy Vulcan nymphette constantly "decontaminating" or "massaging" or "rubbing medicine" on her partially naked Vulcan body, I like the way it uses Star Trek history for it's episodes and it's more believable in terms of science. Spock, Data and T'pol work for me, but Voyager and DS9... I'm bleh to watch any more. I also thought First Contact wasn't a bad movie in parts, Zeffrem Cochrane character is done really well.

This used to be my main issue with Star Trek, that people can communicate faster than light, teleport and do lot's of things Star Wars and Dune don't dare to show, but now I'm starting to like the universe and characters a lot.

What do you think about Star Trek? Which series or movies, if any did u like, hated etc. Your thoughts on Star Trek please.

Can't say I've watched much of the series, I always remembered seeing women in really tight tops though. I saw the modern film and didn't really like it.

I've only ever watched some of Voyager on TV and thought it was quite good at times

Not a fan of Star Trek but it was interesting at times, lol
