In November I shall venture forth on a journey to the british isles with my woman to visit her family and whatnot. I shall go forth and buyeth myself a laptop for around 700 pounds max, I shall want a decent gaming laptop and hopefully with my well informed cheapskates on here I can get my wish.
Now it's my understanding that hopefully there will be some stunting going on for the holiday around this period even though we're leaving early in November. Can anyone recommend me a place or even a model that makes me metabolic end product myself with 700 pounds being the maximum (750 if you want to be a douche)? Thanks?
#Love,Nick.

Well I'm currently on a laptop running off a AMD Radeon HD 6620G so I just want a good upgrade from that lmao. I am looking to get the most bang from my bucks though so I should keep looking around. It seems like Lenovo is a good brand to go with because they're pretty cheap for the specs you're getting.

Newegg doesn't ship to Europe, fiddlesticks. Custom route for a laptop? Yeah out of the question for me I do understand you get what you pay for, but I've had plenty trouble in the past with brands like Acer so I'm not too worried. What would you recommend Alvind?

The only thing close to a custom laptop (at least that I know) are ones from apple. And those cost like 5000 bazillion dollars (~3223 bazillion pounds) And they are macs... ew.

Retail is f*******. Head to Tottenham Court Rd in the Centre of London, you can walk it from Oxford Circus or Leicester Square easily. My major piece of advice, don't decide anything until you actually saw it in the flesh and tried it. Two reasons, things will be different in November financially and definitely prices will be different. Also it's something you're going to touch a lot, you wanna touch before you buy.

Personally, it may not be what you want to hear but for me. If I was spending 700 nooper on a laptop I'd put that bit extra and buy this http://www.byfarthecheapest.com/product ... aptop.htmlIt's better in the long run. Failing that you can always go for a refurbed one like this :http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ALIENWARE-M14X-6GB-1TB-14-4-INCH-WINDOWS-8-GAMING-LAPTOP-/360699460737 As long as there is some warranty on you couldn't go wrong. The refurbed one featured I'm only using as an example. Downside is its 14.4inch but you could always buy a hdmi cable n hook up to the big screen After all it is Alienware! Other ppl opinions will vary and prolly shoot me down but that's my tuppence
