I would say it is basic modding, but its still more than I can do Map looks interesting, your texturing is getting better i would say.

Those are accoustic sensers that will alarm if you set up the triggers correctly. They are fun.... In Hong Kong they are present
Now for the grandest Moding if you can call it that....

Yes they are just acoustic sensors which are usually on a pole near canal road in Hong Kong, they alert the Hong Kong Police, there is a datacube on them in UNATCO HQ when u escape from MJ12 and then I think there is another datacube on them in the copshsop? in Hong Kong. I was thinking about making them explosive...
Thanks Reaction, it's the texture tools you/DXMS showed me that I'm using. This renaming stuff is dead easy, but doesnt always work in MP.
I've changed all the "properties>display>skins" boxes. same for meshes. Just use the classes menus to find your texture or mesh and click use in the properties box, exactly same as adding/changing the music track.
In SP you can change the conversation name as well, but it seems to revert to its original name in MP.
I realize it could be unpopular with some players who may become confused and not realize the crates are movable etc...when you start messing with the standard interactivity, it might confuse others...
My next step was to try to add different meshes to some weps.
My favourite so far, will be on my next map, sci-fi cleaner bots which look like spy drones and whizz around and look very futuristics.
And of course, you might even be able to hide your spy drone among the cleaner bots...

ShadowRunner: That wasn't a spawnroom. It was my Experimental Lab map where I mess with coding of everything. There are some really strange things on that map lol! And now.......

I found a weird mesh called 'Card Reader' that appears was not used in the game. I have done a little modding and made it work. Its now basic Hackable Device. Use a multitool on it and you can trigger an event like open a door. Amazing!

Yes I have noticed many unused textures as well.
There are signs for a room in UNATCO HQ for some guy called Nick.
And meshes for equipment I never saw.
But your card reader is clever...
You can pay for Ling to follow you around the Lucky Money club...
Mamasan has 200 creds, nothing a phosporous rocket cant take care of...
The other one looks like a needle junkie, no contest really, Ling in tartan is my choice every time.

I suppose you could remesh security computers, all keypads, terminals etc etc...
My problem is when I set something up e.g. A Datacube, Public computer or pick-up message on items e.g ammo, inventory etc, it works beautifully and is really fun to play, but in MP, all my conversation and pick-up messages and titles etc revert to original...and the datacube or public computer is blank.
I want to put public computers, re-meshed into spwnrooms with explanation to the new maps, especially if re-meshing is going on, you might have to spell to people that they need to click on your card reader to get through the door...
Let the record show in annals of DX glory that Mastershadow has given us the DX card reader...glorious Mastershadow...
So did you write a .u file or just alter the properties?

LOL! THe mesh was there. No code or default properties. Nothing but the mesh lol. I just copied the eye scanner thingy code onto it and working to add nanokey like access...
