Ironically it doesn't state ANYWHERE that the world is going to end in 2012. 2012 marks the START of the new age/world/whatever. It was actually the discovery channel who decided to put one and one together and get apocalypse. The reason for the end of the world nonsense is that if a new world is to start, they are convinced the old one should end.

Either way, it's all a crock of many metabolic end product regardless. The way I see life, including religion and such is that there are good people and bad people. If it turns out that islam is the one true religion, do you not agree that eternal damnation for every christian who may be a decent good person just because they were born into a different world is *loving* hypocritical to faith itself? It's monotonous many metabolic end product. A guy in Turkey once told me, "from my point of view, I've read both the Kuran and the BIble. you can see similarities in both, so it would seem that muslims go right on path to god, and christians go left, either way they both end up at the same place."

Stop being a bunch of *loving* pansies trying to believe in some sort of greater cause, not only does proving the non-existance of an afterlife or god make you look like a douche but it also means your wasting the life you have if that's all you get. If theres nothing left after death why don't you stop talking about it and make the most of life?

I find all this 2012 issue slightly amusing anyway. I wonder how many will kill themselves, not unlike from that incident some years ago when we had that comet encounter and something maybe around 20 people killed themselves as a cult just because they believed that aliens traveled in the tail of the comet and human population on earth had some kind of evil plot..

Hate, fear of anything different or anyone different and so many other emotions are part of us, only amplified by collectivity. If you give people faith and religion, which in itself can only be the one true religion, as its easier for our little heads to understand, it only supplies us with another reason to hate, BUT also acts as a justification to carry out acts of problem solving when dealing with this foreign element. Just because you dont believe in my God, the creator of all life, you must be of different strain of species, and obviously not a human worthy of life.

While everything else youve said clearly indicates that our Spazzy here is indeed a rather logical thinking person with head at the right spot, these lines however indicate that you have not quite understood our rather impractical yet curious topic. Non-existence can be an important subject of debate at some levels of philosophy, and as much as I try to avoid the subject nowadays, so is the higher power dilemma, which coincidentally I dont recall ever being even touched in the more thorough posts. I believe in no higher power crap.

My points are valid and light hearted, like everything I don't really take it seriously. Personally, I do have faith, maybe not in the conformity of a standardized religion but faith none the less.

Ken you of all people should know that regardless of what the subject is, I'll always stray off topic and take a light hearted (and more than likely offensive) stance on the subject. In my own opinion to think that people really take any of the metabolic end product they read online to heart is naive at best. As for living here, the information here I know is that those who had the time and knowledge to study Islam and dint, would be punished. Those who weren't able to get information about the religion, and dint had the time wouldn't be punished.


Christians wouldn't be going on some "eternal damnation" because they believe on the God but a different concept like Son of god, thus, they will get in the heaven after they attend their punishments.

EDIT: Other religions like buddism and all, those who totally don't believe in the God gets in hell for eternity.
