DXMP_Siberia Beta 3 is ready

my Textures folder now looks like a warzone!
A lot of custom signage and lighting textures will appear in the final version.


Tasks for beta 4 (hopefully will be pre final)

add custom singage

add complex custom skybox with snow and terrain

add better cabinets

flesh out the "blue" control room with electronic devices and tables + chairs

re work a few lights

figure out what value to put in "TrueNorth"

add a fourth playerstart to each of the 3 spawns, only 9 playerstarts in total in this beta.

one thing i forgot to add, to save having to upload it again. Can you bring up the map in Unrealed and put a few items in?!

a pistol and emp nade on the crates in the top right-hand corner of the map

- on the crates in the room just below them ( in overhead view) put a lockpick on one crate

on the crate just outside the long window of the left-hand spawn, put an emp nade and multitool

on the jagged edged hallway at the bottom of the overhead view, put a lockpick and a mini crossbow on one of the crates.

Hi Anax, your map is asking for ctex3.

ffs! ok let me retexture the lights, i carry the same colours over each time i update ctex package, i must have forgot to put the new textures on.

ok hopefully this updateed version won't need any textures from ctex3. try it out.

It's still asking for the tex3. Try selecting (one by one) all the textures in the tex3 package (like highlight them on the bar on the right which shows all da tex's) and hitting Q then save the map, take out the tex3 from your deus ex folder and try and open the map, worth a shot.

by the way i managed it without selecting every texture from older versions of "ctex" and then hitting Q

does that erase the selected textures from every brush surface?

if it does that would save me a Lot of time!

Yeah it's supposed to do that, but i haven't had any success with it i don't think.
