Very much so for me, also if you check the guys posts on his video youll see how he says he owns a £800 CPU but only a £30 GPU.
The dude is a blatant liar.

Not like it's a hard map to guess where the enemy probably is though, it's not exactly big.
Forgot how bad the game looked and how retarded spamming crouch for an advantage looks.

He moved when I moved even behind a wall and never crouched whilst doing so yet HS every time with a sniper and .4 of a second with a rifle. FPS change I dunno but it's like he has predator view on all weapons when walls are involved.
Phants been like that for a few months. I think it's to do with the fact that he has set up some strange behindview bind.

I don't see it. 2:40 right? It looks like he is just strafing. I always use a togglebehindview bind to check around corners but I never tried sniping someone with it. You would need a sniper bind and need centerview to work for it to be effective because you only see your butt when you scope in behindview.

ShadowRunner wrote:Behindview is more plausible than some strange Rmode 1 or something. Maybe someone found a hardware combination that gives you predator like capabilities. I used to be able to view through all doors on default maps with a particular gfx card I won't mention and it is one hell of an advantage. But I've never seen through brushes though, unless there's an error.
I've seen through brushes on a shitty gfx card but only from a distance, like the tower in a51, could see through the walls from the ground... Anyway I highly doubt Phant is using more then an FPS abuse or maybe an external program to speed his things up. I don't think he has a wallhack or anything like that.

Due to the replication behavior of the unreal engine, it's not guaranteed that you see players through the wall, even if they are there.

Extreme distances do affect actor visibility, I believe - although 99% of maps won't have that problem. Note this is why you can't just use translucent textures for windows and such like
