A little off-topic, but autistic people are very unpredictable, and can have violent intentions in situations that would otherwise not warrant it, as I have witnessed.

As for the issue at hand, this post does not warrant nor need a reply, only to remind you that a server must inevitably edit a client side file or two in order to correctly configure it to the required demands of said server.
It is much the same in most games, only that in this instance you have been informed of the potential edit, and can also see it in a configuration file because you have a program such a notepad that can interpret it.

So, having not posted in this topic at all, and read through all 7 pages, the fact that the bulk of this topic exists is mainly due to the fact that you do know what this modification will do.

Those gamers that haven't read up on it, will be non-the-wiser due to the fact that it is merely a planned edit of a configuration file, much like the boolean value check when a player starts a new Single Player game and should require a dialog box requesting to go through training first or not, before continuing - I doubt that many of the attendees to this forum topic are that well informed about how that edits the configuration file at all.

that's highly interesting and useful post, but regarding autism Dae's post was not warranted, off-topic, personal and irrelevant, and no-one here is being treated for autism, so what is the point of discussing autism here. I agree some autistic children, especially teenagers are trouble, but violence is not something I have ever seen in autistic adults unless attacked/abused etc. Check Rainman or Whats Eating Gilbert Grape. Dae's post is very strange.

I agree with you about the mod as well and like I said we wont be installing it, as long there is a gun held to our head and our forums.

James and Alex are on final warning here. Kaiden is not far behind. I'm glad and appreciate that you are speaking reasonably on these forums.

Off topic, but plz note that these films cannot be used to generalise autism, as autism cannot, by nature, be generalised. It has some very strange effects on people. Trust me, I speak from experience here people. Ty for listening. Well, reading really.
