LOL awesome sike... but doesn't it matter where exactly you drag to? I mean, it wont be powers of 2 and all that? Or its snapping to grid anyway so I suppose it doesn't matter...

As long as its on the grid to a size of 2, then it'll be powers of 2 - obviously a slanted side is going to eventually cause problems, so try and keep it within 45 degrees.

Vertex snapping should always be turned off when using the Unreal Editor. My Ued2 has vertex snapping toggled off automaticly and I can't remember where that button is in Ued1 because I only use it to put actors to my map :P

Also never drag 2 vertexes to the same place because that will cause the editor to crash...

I've always used Vertex Editing, got taught to when I began lol. Although it crashes me quite often if I make triangles etc <_<.

Because you are doing it the way you shouldn't. You are trying to place more than one vertex to the same location...
