Message to LTK server admins

It is their server, but that doesn't give them any rights to exclude ppl who havent broken any rules. That has destroyed even the best of clans.

The popularity of EDH server is probably due to fast action and a mix of skills amongst players and an admin who tries to be fair.

Who the hell is "sniper"? Just kidding, I don't really care.

As for how to run a server. In any game other than DX it is fair to say an admin can run their server as totalitarian as they so please.

However, such abuse of a small community in DX, with so little alternatives in which to play or to find players at all, is inexcusable.

The HK member join LTK server.
He owns LTK guys.
LTK guys get pissed and ask the admin to ban the HK member.

The LTK guys leave the server, the clan and probabily DX.

Case # 2: Ban the homosexual

HK's guys join LTK server.
They own LTK guys.
LTK guys get pissed and ask the admin to ban the HK member.
The admin ban the HK member.
The LTK guys keep playing in their server and they will enjoy the game and suggest their friends to play it too.
The HK member goes to the forum and complain about the ban.
Yanni goes on every forum and start moaning about a newbie clan banning a HK godness.

That's what I see... a HK homosexual who think to be a godness around here and that everyone must bend and lick his feets because he's a skilled player of a clan and blablalbalbabla.

I disagree. I doubt anyone ever left DX cos they got ownt. In fact it is what makes most people addicted, the desire to score better. your buddies in [A], did they leave cos they got ownt. NO! they left cos of noobs more likely. You propose to allow noob law in DX.

What you suggest is this: That vets are only safe on vet servers and noobs are only safe on noob servers. You propose to take DX back not forwards.

You are right Sniper, they can do what they like, but not if they want any credibility or respect from the rest of the community. We do have the power of language and communication as human beings, why not use it.

Any admin without warning, even a mapchange, is probably stupid.

I disagree, they can't just do as they please, they should respect all players etc, if they dont want to be treated badly in other areas of the community, they should try to warn vets to throttle back or urine off. By removing a guy without warning, they lose credibility and respect.

of whic community are you talking ? is there a DX community ? because what I see is clans flamming against others clans, hackers, whole clans flamming against one single player, forums down and servers DDoSed... where is the community ?

Not everyone have this desire to score better. I sent the DX slim version of DX to friends, I burnt the slim on CDs and gave them at school and at the local luna park just asking to people to play this game and giving with the CD my msn contact in case they needed help. People started playing and they have been ownt and left. Who haven't left moaned at me because there wasn't a server where they could play in peace and then left them too.

The friend of mine who 2 ages ago told me about DX left MP because noone gave him a chance

FOR WHAT I SEE THE HK GUY WENT TO LTK's SERVER JUST TO OWN THE NEWBIES AND HAVE A LAUGH OF THEM. HE COULD JOIN ANY OTHER SERVER BUT HE CHOOSED THE LTK ONE BECAUSE THERE WAS NEWBIES.

The skilled players should play against players as good as them. Also they are only damaging the game.

Dude seriously,

you were a noob once, i was a noob once, hell we all were noob at one time. did we left because we got owned? No.

As for your friends, that seems to illustrate a new hype in modern society: something gets hard, drop it. Mankind seems to have lost the desire and the urge to do something challenging. Instead they'll just stick to that what's easy for them. A Real Shame That Is!

EDIT/ and for the community, I'm proud to be part of this community, it has brought me a lot of fun times, and i've met a lot of great ppl through it. True flaming and hacking is a problem, but get over it, that's what happens when ppl get together, they flame. You can't expect every one to get along, that's just stupid and naive.

well I came to DX when GODZserver was the busiest. 20mm/lams, a noob rifle and server full of noobs, I got plenty of kills and enjoyed DX.

GM server was supposedly "skilled", but I never enjoyed being teamkilled for no other reason than being new etc and yeah, it made me think about leaving.

Sniper: Let me ask you a question. Say, this happened to you instead of a member of HK. Say you were the one who got banned for being too good in a server that is supposedly open to players of all skill levels. Are you telling me that you would peacefully accept your ban? In fact let me pose this question to everyone in the topic. Is there anyone in here that wouldn't complain about being banned from a server for being too good? It seems to me your response to what has happened isn't so much you feeling that what LTK did was right, but more because you have some kind of vendetta against HK.

This has nothing to do with newbies, noobs, nubs, n00bs, or any variation of the condescending term you wish to use to put down average players, Sniper.

You're looking to far into this. My guess is you're not an American DXer. Americans know well that it is VERY hard to find a good server to play on in DX these days. Coincidentally the American servers in the classic games are dying out as well and getting loaded up with AI Bots.

LTK servers give us 70-90 ping. THAT'S why we play there. That, and because people aren't suicide lawing and mucking about making the server unenjoyable. Playing against several people at a time with new weapons is, believe it or not, EFFING FUN!

And that fact mingled together with the fact west coast Americans get an average of 80ms there, is a great loss of a fun place to play.

Get off HK's asses and stop trying to point out some hidden agenda. We play where it's fun. If we are booted from that place simply because we excel, that blows.
