In my opinion Music should be free to those who do not have the resources to buy it. and to be honest the reason "stealing" music is illegal is because the government doesn't get their precious taxes from it. The government doesn't give a *love* about the artist who made the music.

(besides successful musicians get a majority of money from tours and merchandise, royalties only bring in a fraction of the money)

this is the same reason most other things are illegal. There is not one thing that is illegal just because it is "bad" or "immoral" these are excuses not the real reason. (excluding crimes against humanity, they are only illegal to appease the general public)

so basically, whether hacking is wrong all depends on what the hacker is doing, how they use the information, and what the authorities say is wrong.


This is how fucked up the government is, There are hundreds of police officers in any given state arresting innocent people who aren't harming anyone taking everything they own and putting them in prison for a very long time, because they are growing a plant. While there are murders and rapes going on at that very same time. The people growing the plant get first priority because the government isn't getting money, while the investigation to catch the rapist, or the murderer is put on hold because as long as that rapist or murderer isn't cheating the government out of money the authorities really couldn't care less.

lmao it was more of an example to explain why certain things are illegal, and because most everything is illegal for the same reason I used what a majority of people know about as an example.

back on the subject of hacking, there are forms of malicious hacking that are illegal for the same reason as most crimes against humanity. Any hacker who does that needs to get a life, get laid, and get a job.
