I understand what he means but the code makes no sense to me

I only know some basic C++ and I am learning VB.NET

I wish I could take a class on Java but I would have to pay for that...

I'm being lazy thats why the delay... I am trying to get info on the handshake. I am
avoiding having to fake validate server listing requests.

I didnt know that Delphi is a scripting language...
I used Borland Delphi 2005 PE over years and I as far as I have seen, it has a real 32bit compiler which compiles the code to x86 ASM.

Delphi is a compiled language. Meaning it can take code and generate binary
code that can be run on a computer like C, C++, etc.

Java is one exception of both. It can be compiled into binary code and run
and it can be scripted.

Good to hear..
No validation is no good idea for a more secure master server, like you predicted.

@Java:
Java is no interpreted but a compiled language too.
The difference to c++ is that it doesn't get compiled into machine code but into byte code, which is executed by a virtual machine afterward.
