I assume players with older pc's don't need their FPS to be capped because their firerate doesn't get higher

That is correct. I mostly have a fps of 60 and only at certain spots when standing against the wall I get 100. So capping it would be rather pointless for me.

there's no need to cap your fps once you have an old computer..
100fps should be fine but not on dualcore/quadcore machines..

I just noticed my FPS and it gets to 400-600 straight, That means I'll soon have to cap.... n00011!!!!!

I got 4GB DDR2-800, a AMD Athlon64 X2 6000+ and a HD3870.... my firerate is still not getting higher. (Maybe its because I'm using Windows 7).

What do you use? Well, I think you use D3D9, anyways, open DeusEx.ini, find FrameLimit in D3D9 section, and then change your framelimit to 0, and then goto DeusEx, type without say "netspeed 200000" and there, check your FPS, report back, kk.

I can get 400 FPS but i Limited it too 100. I cant play with 200~300 FPS normaly on every map..

Yes I know that, I just wanted to know how much he can reach, well, if it gets too much, do the framelimit to something like 100-150.

We used to play dx with like 30-40 fps. At one stage i was using a machine that took 10-15 minutes just to start dxmp.
