I could make a disparaging comment about the Irish, but since I'm part Irish myself, I don't want to endure the self-pwnage.

I'm the ignorant *love*? Coming from the guy who "disparaged" sciences and math, for your information I hold several scientific qualifications and diplomas and for a while worked at a cancer research lab. I'd like to see you cure cancer with your French Dictionary. How about you look into other things before getting all hot and heavy with me.

And for your information, there's no point in speaking Irish/Gaelic, it's a dead language anyway. It's as much use as latin or skil.

And for skil, rofl @ the part irish bit. I'm partially a nice guy but that doesn't stop me being a wanker.

I never "disparaged" sciences and math, I just said that I liked languages more than science and/or math. Many of my friends think the other way around, I don't like them less for it, I just disagree with them.

Good for you. But I don't see how that is relevant.
I'd like to see you cure cancer with your French Dictionary.
I probably won't, but then on the other end, that has never been my intend.
How about you look into other things before getting all hot and heavy with me.

Maybe read my post before getting all hot and heavy with me. As said before, I have looked into other things. That's the beauty of our education system you know, they don't force you into a corner, you get at least a bases of everything, but you 'specialize' in the other. So some one who likes maths and/or sciences (those are seperated here), will also get a base in French, Dutch and German. And vice versa. How's that for education?
And for your information, there's no point in speaking Irish/Gaelic, it's a dead language anyway. It's as much use as latin or skil.

LOL, so when a language is dead it looses his purpose or use? LOL, didn't think you were that narrowminded. Latin is indeed a dead language, but still has many uses, but perhaps a 'sciencedude' can't comprehend that.

And I never said I was interested in speaking Gaelic, all I said is that I was intrigued by the language, and would like to know more about it, but ok got the point that your not willing to help me out, I won't bother you any longer.

I'm not entirely sure how to take this, so I'll just lol instead. I'm in a good mood you see, having just done two endings in a row on TNM. :D

Naaa it never gets boring to me.

@Prophet
Latin is used for medical science, biology, etc. for names and classifications. Latin is not a dead language exactly,
it is still used for allot of things.
