The [FGS] Clan

If you really want to apply mapping and modding into an equation does it really make sense to say

[FGS] is better than [T] because we make maps and they can beat everyone, including us, in the maps we make.

I guess you can call me simple, because I just don't get it.

Mapping and coding make a large importance in DXMP, just look at the most popular servers, MIRK for instance.. I checked it out today, lots of mods including tactical and tnag installed, not very good but unique maps by beginner mappers and 15/20 online players. Altfire and DXSG servers are played every day and all this because of the unique maps and mods made by people like us. DXMP would be dead for long without these.

You seem to forget we do have some decent players, if you want to stay in the 'skill-equation'. I do honestly think we could compete with the 'holy trinity', and not only in augs, which isn't the only game type around you know...

More suitable would have been "[FGS] to be the most contributing clan around DX at the moment"

However, since you are like you are, there would have come up the "skill" debate, nevertheless.
That topic was about to be the "best" as in the total of the things that we contribute to the community and not the aiming skill and the k-d-r of FGS.

We're probably not the best clan in the entire world but certainly better than any other one in DXMP at the moment, that's my opinion and that's what I wanted to be proven otherwise about. Must be hard that you can't come up with anything to do so :/

Youre weak in atdm but as far as 0augs go I would say that if you dug up couple of your guys you should be able to win any clan that might likely fight you, and although I dont know about gravity/altfire/sg I suppose its the same for those? So overall I suppose you are right.

I gave in to my little desire and made a very small clan for fans of special type of music, not active clan by far, but part of me still wants to be FGS in dxmp, too . Maybe soon. I will play this game until Im the last player in the server, anyway. Great to see such oldtimers like nobody here still play.

On the battle front of things, [T]'s held that for a good few years now. Mapping and coding only really meant something back when there was a decent community. Believe it or not, [T] still is quite active, predominantly on forums, the odd occasion we will meet up in-game and have a bash. Since [3]'s departure and Silentscopes immigration to Germany [T] went from being the best US clan to being the best clan overall. Not that it actually means anything now.

To say that [FGS] is the best clan around instantly gives me the grounds to challenge you to a clan war, same with yannivich spouting off about [HK] which although I have love for the guys, really meant *love* all in DXMP. You can try to deny it man but you guys have meant jack metabolic end product apart from a brief 3-4 month period where you attempted to make a name for yourselves. That should start an arguement but I don't give a metabolic end product.

So yeah, if you want to spout that you're the best clan in DXMP, [T] will take you on, with a bunch of rusty vets who don't actually give a metabolic end product. Ball's in your court now.
