completing DX can be done fast if you know what to do and dont care about the details like secondary objectives or full ammunition/inventory/augs/weapons/skills etc

when i first played it...hm i have to ask anihex, we played it together.
but i think it took more than a week. it was fun to play but nowdays...90% of games are done in less than 10 hours

Same with Bioshock.
No MP so the game will die earlier than MP games.
Nowdays a game must have a MP to survive. But when i remember.. Prey for example, has a MP but its death now.
Prey isnt that old and has good graphics but without MP 90% of the games dies.
But when i look foreward to other games like.. Crysis Wars ore whatever Ego-Shooter i think the oldest are just the best.

Bioshock will survive because Bioshock 2 is coming and it will have a multiplayer feature. Those who will play Bioshock 2 will probably play the first episode aswell. As far as I saw from the teaser, the graphics will be almost the same so you won't really need a better pc to play it.

Yes u need a beter one.
The dont use the same engin and BS2 uses much more shader and stuff.
I think a Dual Core is Minimum on the game, BS1 only needed 2.4GHZ to run in low graphics.
Wenn i guess BS2 dont need a large dual core, so i can run it in Max details, i hope
And yes i heard about a MP in BS2, i hope its not a flop.
We will se, BS2 will come out 2009/2010 (but i guess 2010)
