I have to admit spaz that's awesome

I had the same problem as you except I was a lazy ass and didn't look at my PSU before i bought my GFX card. I ended up buying a new PSU a week later... but seriously a decent PSU will cost under $50 which is nothing compared to the card.

I am actually running a PSU right now that aint got enough ampers to meet the GFX cards requirement lol. I was told Id be ok until I start overclocking or what not. Sad thing is its a new PSU, I fucked up with its stats when I purchased it. Was going to put it into sis' box anyway

I guess your lucky then, my old PSU caused my 8800GTS to sound like a fire alarm when I tried to run it.

i'd say go for the 7600 GT 512 GDDR3, and pick up a 450w minimum PSU, cheap as chips they are, i got a 550w CiT psu for less than 30 quid

My new laptop's gonna have a nVidia GT130M (the 1GB GDDR3 edition). To hell with your 512.
