You're right.. that map got scripted textures.. which aren't used by DX.. and yes.. you're drunk too..
@Jima: PREPARE to get in competition with the BIGFOOT!

I remember my mapping project that lasted about a week, revamping the maps and such. Man I'm lazy.

Can't work the Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V buttons, eh?
I know what you mean, if you're doing it the same way as I am. Geometry is the "fun" bit of mapping but it's all already done, texturing an entirely finished, blank map is a really, really boring task. Replacing UT specific features is hard too.
Because I'm also going to be using all the original textures, porting every single one over to DX (to avoid detail mismatches and a vast amount of pointless .utx package downloads), it's going to get an awful lot more boring much, much faster.
And no, mastakilla, it did not have the scoreboards (that say like... "JIMA B IS IN THE LEAD") dotted around.
You're thinking of Morpheus3 on UT2004. I'm talking about DM-Morpheus on Plain ol' UT.
^^

As far as I know, the UT Morpheus map DOES have that line in the tower too!

Hmm...
Actiually, it doesn't.
It has a Different one!
On UT2004 in place of the advertisements on the indoor billboards it has the same sort of messages, mainly like 'JIMA B LEADS THE MATCH'.
But on UT it has one that goes in the same rooms off to the left hand side (if your looking in from outside).
So yes it appears to.
It's called Scripted.comdemnedscroll, scripted.messagescroll3 and scripted.messagescroll2...
Wonder if this could be recreated in DX without extensive modification...

UT99 Has different console, different HUD than Deus Ex.
DX has no message input/bools like that. It is indeed possible but we'll have to make it differently.

As pretentious as that was, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, as it was rather snazzy.
No, what I set out to do was basically take smuggler for instance. Keep the general layout, change the entire map. Like I had planned to turn it into a submarine base-esque thing. Where the top L-Shaped corridor for instance was gonna be a curved glass walkway with fish n' metabolic end product around it. Woulda looked good had i have been arsed.

Its very possible to have that scoreboard and HAS been done for DX... I've seen it before... but I fear I don't know who ported it... or... whatever term would apply here.
