The ones believing that greenhouse gases are the cause of the whole shabang, i.e. our fault, are basically saying; "well we're fucked regardless". Why not just let nature take it's course and let us GTFO of earth.
There's a huge difference between the significant increase of temperature every year and the amount of time needed for mankind to leave this planet.

Edit: But I guess your point is that we have better things to spend our money on than worrying about global warming.

All we need is one big earthquake and temperature problems will be solved for the next 10+ years ;-)

There are only two ways out of this:

1. Colonization of space.
2. Massive genocide.

Really, it is too late.

As german with the "dark history from WW2", I shouldn't comment this.

It is kinda our fault, so we kinda have to live with the consequences...xD

Too bad though, that we have to pay for faults our generation did not make.

The Gaza Strip has been the subject of an almost continuous Israeli blockade since Hamas took control of the enclave in the summer of 2007
1. Hamas took control because they won elections in GAZA ! So Israel Doesn't want them take power !!
Israeli air and ground offensive at the turn of the year killed some 1,400,. including hundreds of civilians
2. Just let's go back into Happy 2009 Halloween ! in 25 Days 1600 Palestinians are murdered !! including hundreds of Children's and the rest Everyone are know it

Global warming should really be called global climate change, A rise in global temperature, will not necessarily mean you can have more days at the beach, but also more freak weather, which could include having colder and wetter weather as well as an increase in natural disasters, such as earthquakes, flooding etc.

I don't know what to believe, whether it's a man made, or a natural thing. There's compelling evidence to support either stance.

The fact that greenpeace lied and put out exaggerated reports of the global warming stuff makes my mind up about it all being many metabolic end product made up by some treehugging homosexual.

Obviously it's not healthy for mother nature what we're doing with all this polution and sh!t, but nature adapts and evolves itself around the circumstances anyway. That and the fact that we wont be around to witness anything catostrophical makes me not give a sh!t. Well I obviously give enough of a sh!t to spend time typing this about it but let's ignore that fact. :alc:

Bottom line is, we shouldn't stress our economies more by finding "green" solutions to a partly fictional problem. Maybe when the economy is flourishing again we can look at the future and nature, and all that crap.

Funny how a topic about israelis turned into a climate debate or something, but that's cool.

A single volcanic explosion can release the amount of CO2 mankind releases in a year. A big one though.

Random is right, the guards did their job I guess, the wall shouldn't be there in the first place. UN is very double-standard, as I discovered when playing Civilization II...

I see climate change in a whole new light!
forgot who said this wrote:the same research that will probably give us the technology to exodus to another planet is being hindered by the research to save the planet.
It is called the Easter Island effect. Population grows, Pollution increase. Resources deplete. The Easter Islanders disappeared, despite being an advanced people. They think it is because they ran out of wood and then were hit by castrophic climate events. They needed wood for houses and fishing boats. They fished and population increased, so wood was used for houses when they needed it really for fishing boats and to get off the island. Same thing is happening here on earth. Space travel has always been a luxury, as our problems increase and resources deplete it will become even more unpopular with funding bodies and even more expensive, we will trap ourselves on this planet and then kill each other over the last fish in the sea...

best thing to do is enjoy your life and play DX. I don't know if it is man-made or not, but the solution will be something similar to Bob Page, a massive virus which kills cows and most humans...would you opt for Ending 1, 2 or Ending 3, or perhaps secret party level?
