Bioshock 1 was great, I completed it, too bad it lacked multiplayer. That problem is solved in episode 2 afaik.

SO 7800 > 8400.
8800 > 8400
9800 > 8800
8800 > 9400

In short, *400 cards are home use, low level, consumer cards
*800 series are high end gaming cards.

HOWEVER the 9400 may suit the current generation of games for low spec. If it does play bioshock two, it wont do it well, especially if an 8800GT can just-say manage it.

The 8800 GT came at some sort of monumental point in card development. Even though it seems very similar to the 7800, it supports DX10, 3dvision and plenty of other advanced features, as well as a better pixel shader. That's (i'm guessing) why you can't play on anything less than an 8800, but can still play on any 9 series card.

The game doesn't require the raw power of a card to function (otherwise a 7800 GTX would crush it to bits) it requires some niche function like Pixel shader 3, or something that older 8 series cards haven't got, and so an 8800 (although stated as minimum) would play much better than a 9400.

So yeah, you should actually be able to play it on a 9400.

Don't make the mistake that many others make, thinking 9*00 > 8*00 in raw computing power. They aren't. The 9 series consumer cards are just outfitted with the same advanced tech brought in with the 8 series.
