Meh, I studied many forms of philosophy whether it be religious or skeptical. it's all pretty much the same metabolic end product.

Isnt paganism essentially about living in harmony with the nature (and many in the fear of), while the shaped religions that come after are about following the word in the book that man wrote? Messiah tried to write a book once but I dont think it was very popular.. I think we need someone even more influential to start a religion in dx. Soviet maybe. Hes crazy enough. Last I checked he also preaches race supremacy, which is an added bonus, of course.

Soviet would be an awesome religious leader.

Its one of the fundamental reasons why religious thought would raise its head within you. I did not mean it as part of the practice. Look around you and try finding people who honestly strive towards being one with the nature. Sure, our science, technology and education has come a way since then, but what essentially remains the same is that youd pick your booze, women, well roasted beef and good nights sleep over some obscure and seemingly impractical concept, any day. Things, thoughts change somewhat when you see what a tornado can do, when earth moves beneath your feet or lightning strikes the tree next to you.

I meant the "in fear" part. If your religion says you should be afraid of something, it isn't the paganism I've been hearing about...

No, I do not believe that the paganism puts emphasis on the fear per se, I explained what I meant by that in my previous post. What I am saying is that you have no reason to follow any religious practice without fear, and the stronger the fear, the stronger the religion.

Oh I see what you mean now, yeah I'll concede to that. Christianity/Islam = control by fear + ignorance + "holy" wars = power. Despite the fact that they're almost exactly the same many metabolic end product "religion" as each other, give or take, only major difference is what prophet they wroship. Christians: Jesus, Muslims: Mohammad, Jews: Moses.

Their "god" is exactly the same *loving* guy.
