STALKER is good, but about which one are you talking about? I've played Shadow of Chernobyl (the original one) and Call of Prypiat, and the second one was better.
FEAR (1) was a good game, if you expected action from it. The whole horror thing wasn't scary at all. Slomo was *loving* awesome.
Fallout 3 is... well... Oblivion with guns. It shares all the things right and wrong in Oblivion, I wouldn't even call it a real, serious cRPG, just a simple knock-off, that is still fun, but when you compare it to Fallout 1 or 2 (which are OMGAWESOME) in terms of complexity or story-telling, F3 is metabolic end product. I'm not talking about graphics, or mechanichs, which are obviously way different (isometric turn-based vs 3D FPS).
Also Nicky, I don't really understand the way you compare games, you put 3 different games, that revolve around different things: STALKER is your typical FPS with a couple of RPG/exploration elements, so is Fallout 3, but FEAR? It's just a normal shooter that would like to be scary, but fails terribly at it.
