Re: My Modding work
ok, i searched a bit around on google, and found some cool weapon mods. i implemented them in copies of the original dxmp maps, and gonna host a server with em some time, so i (or we) can test those weapons (i think all of them have custom model, and one of those weapons are dual SMGs
)

In times of darkness, when hope seems to be lost, one last chance of victory rises from the shadows. This army doesn't know fear, they only know war. They fight, no matter what the cost, no matter how the odds are... They fight! And when the last enemy has fallen, they vanish back into the shadows, watching humanity, and protecting them from annihilation... They are the guardian angels of mankind, and they will never surrender, never retreat,... And never stop searching for the truth.

Re: My Modding work
If you are using original maps, be careful to remove all wep mod, aug canisters, items which relate to single player and will cause lag in multiplayer. NPC's also, make sure they don't crash because original conversation or actions are still contained in the NPC.

You mean old Derek? Is he still around, and how much would it cost Rollo to get him on board for DXMP:HR? The guy does quality modelling~[FGS]SaSQuATcH~ wrote:cat made some amazing dual mp5k's before, they looked great but they were like 30mb:D

Derek and I are familiar with each other yes, I saw his grandaddy's gun cupboard, we made weps and maps together before, Derek designed the Factory logo. Majin and I are brethren on myspace too.

Re: My Modding work
some more work... this time exporting models from Unreal 2 and importing them in another Unreal Engine game, "Star Wars - Republic Commando" (im using this game for easier modding and all that kind of stuff)

Re: My Modding work
well, i got the idea of importing some models to DX too, but i dont have any idea yet how to bring the animations in (i know its somehow possible by scripting and stuff)ShadowRunner wrote:Very nice indeed, any DX stuff on the boil?
