If he was missing the texture he wouldn't get a mismatch either. It's there and it's changed and he can't find it. Frustrating. lol

If he renamed it then it would just download the coretexmetals.utx from the server, not give a mismatch... I'm pretty sure about that

Majin, what about CG clan? I remember you worn CG tag in GODZ days. I remember also [CG]Malachi or Malachai (something like that ), he was a good player. Nowadays I see in game [CG]Zomie, [CG]Dillinger Jr. but they aren't good players. Is CG still alive?

There is a strange glitch that sometimes occurs in Windows where a file will become invisible to everything (including explorer) except the program that it is connected to. You can even place a new file with the same name where the invisible file is and the program will still use the invisible file.

Try starting a new single player game. The first mission uses coretexmetal so it will only load if you have it.

I can play the single player mode but I can't play the multiplayer mode.. I tried running 2027 too.. As soon as I click on new game it glitches and doesn't play anything.

And majster, I was a CG member back in that time era. I believe as long as a CG member plays they're active.. Or barely trying to survive. And from what I've investigated once upon a time, zombie is a new recruite that dillenger recruited in. Mal and Shoe dont play anymore.. I haven't heard of them since oh gosh it's been ages.. Lol probably since 2007-08?

If you can play single player then you do have CoreTexMetal. It's likely a glitched ghost file. As far as I know, there is no way to get rid of these besides reformatting the drive (erases everything). Even if you delete the folder and remake it, the file will still be there. You should try installing DX to another directory.

Reformatting the drives? Lol dx ain't that important to me. I'll figure it out when I move out or on vacation with the fam later this week.

It's also possible that the .utx file was renamed to .u and moved to the System folder.
At least that's technically possible because the basic internal package structure of u, utx, uax, umx, dx are all the same.

Hmm I'll have to look. Either that or I'll try to run it on the shitty laptop.

And avatar.. Try to keep up, I play BO on xbox and pc. Zombie is a CG member, but BO does have zombie mode which I'm not very fond of.
