Looks very good

but brush work not built to grid and many textures not lined up I notice.

Firstly.
1. Well done.
2. If it's your first, it's a good job.
3. Your lighting looks better than some people who have been mapping for years.
4. Resizing is mapping suicide in most cases, I don't recommend until you really have a lot of experience.
5. Probably all other issues relate to the resizing of brushes.
6. Good effort, reminds me very much of my first Altfire map, which was a gas station edit.

i came up with a good motto for mapping in UnrealED
" if it's off the grid. Get rid. "
i've yet to imagine a phrase that will fully encompass the rage induced when she tell's me "nothing selected" and crashed when i'm tryin' to edit lights.

2.No, not my first, second that i started making from scratch O_x
3."Wehee!" -Random bum locked in a cell , mj12 lab.
4.I didnt resize that station over there, as you have already seen its intersected in one piece, and it got f*cked up while i copied it around
5.no, mostly its because i bounce off the grid lots-o-times.
6. nearly done with editing it for normal gameplay, just need some misc objects all over the place, and weapons at the racks

Oh it looked like the gas truck was resized, but ok I see.
Moody lighting is integral to DXSP and a lot of guys fail to create mood, so for a beginner map, I really like it.

bugs known by me:
- a small bsp hole in the gas station's "shop" in one of the corners
is there any chance for this to get hosted anywhere?

You will have BSP and bugs as not much is aligned to grid!
I will host this map for a very short period of time if you like?

nearly everything is misaligned but i have only that one small hole:'D

Doesn't matter, prefab or copied brushes, they are the same

Oh, and UnrealEd 1 generates less BSP hole

it's pretty awesome m8! loading it up offline was a Lol, the turret attacked the medbot, quite a show...
the conversion of the NSF building is epic!
