How does amount of players originating from Saudi Arabia got anything to do with Jordan? are you blind?
why don't you drop off my name already. It IS stupid to even assume that I would use a VPN, and even choose a country very close (if I can "place an IP anywhere in the world"), and let alone play AUGS.

If he's form Saudi Arabia, he won't get an IP from Jordan (with that logic, I could get a german IP too)
And if he would use a VPN, why he would choose a close country? DJ did some wrong things in the past, he's a good guy greg now (or almost :D)

From my logs, you can get any IP anyway, even without VPN, lol. :D

Obviously, the same counts to you or you wouldn't post redundant comments.

Hmm.. I think I got it..
Soo.. I shall focus on the hard cheats/hacks in favour of the minor things that you need to enjoy the game... did I get it? :o

[FGS]Nobody: the only person who uses logic in this thread.

As for IPs: I'm from Liverpool, UK, but my IP traces to London, UK.

What I have learned from daring to check our logs for suspicious activity is that I am a) homosexual b) a newb and c) have way too much time on my hands. I was also homosexual and newb for withholding evidence and only showing it to those who worked on miniMTL. And as I gave into requests and released it, I'm homosexual and newb anyway. Apparently as this game is 12 years old we should all be TKing for the lolz and using a few hax every now and then just to add a bit of spice to the game. It logically follows that as this game is old it is no longer worth playing seriously. And it logically follows that as the player base is smaller nobody should bother trying to play competitively. There should be no rules and no order at all.

The grand overseers have spoken: DXMP is good for nothing other than serving as a hacker's playground.

But they are in the same country. Jordan and Saudi Arabia are different countries, it's something like you like in UK, but got Irish IP, it's impossible if you don't use VPN (and a very stupid thing, because u could use any country's IP, why would you use an IP from a neighbor contry?)

0. ALIASING

All else happens due to 0.

Some people feel certain people's behaviour is negative to recruitment for the community.

The only strong view I have is that more could be done to making aliasing less easily exploited. I can think of a number of things that could be done, without preventing aliasing, just to make it less simple to exploit. But it's whether coders really want to make the game safer or not.

I don't expect you to. Your reading comprehension levels don't seem the best.

Although I agree with you that exposing aliases will stop trouble-makers, it might also decrease the numbers of players in the servers by quite a lot. Unfortunately, even some of the best players in this game are pretty ego-driven and scared of others seeing that even they can have a bad few maps sometimes. I would still like to test out an anti-aliasing mod for a bit though and see how it works. If anything, it might humble a few players and make them actually try harder to earn a reputation by skill alone -- rather than just by hyping themselves up with chatter. Or maybe I'm thinking too idealistically.

Another thing I forgot to mention is that agent000 (some guy from Azerbaijan) comes into the server impersonating another agent000 (Phantom). Certainly if I was using VPNs I would choose the nearest available countries to still get a playable ping.

And tbh I'm not going to creep around the issue any longer. How many players do we know who live around this area of the globe and play DX? I only know of one: DJ.

There needs to be a mutator made to where if you have aimbot in your /system directory, then it kicks you of the server,

UNLESS you allow aimbot on the server.

I think it's impossible to make it with unrealscript, as I know aimbots are dlls (and I saw somewhere losc said something about aimbots and dlls)
Nobody knows the answer
