You can stop the server.
Unlike SG server, which works fine, the altfire server can be stopped by "admin exit" in game or "ShutDownServer" in telnet.
Then the ini file can be edited oder the panel. After that you can start the server over the panel again.
It will still say it's stopped but it runs again.

that's great, except I open DX right now, maybe in an hour or two, when I can re-install...
