Primarily English, unless you're in Quebec. Then again Quebec doesn't even like to be considered part of Canada. But yes, French isn't useless. It can get you laid. Elven can get you laid, but not by anything that should ever have sex. And well, there's no hope of getting laid if you speak Welsh.
