You're left handed? Either that or I've found the reason for your inability to shoot your guns.

this is a very quick solution for altfire...

Press T
Delete "Say"
Type "Bindkey E Altfire"

Press "E"

You will notice the difference between this and a full altfire bind, made by reading the instructions on this site.

This quick temporary bind is "semi-auto", not fully automatic fire.

Fine for Energy ball, 20mm vac and even pulse rifle perhaps but not for Shotgun or Enforcer.

Different strokes I suppose. :D

Mine is pretty standard, left for fire, right for use, middle for alt. Makes playing UT interesting after awhile, you keep hitting the wheel and wonder why nothing happens. :smt046

Is it possible to use Mouse button 4 and 5 in DX? If so, what command do I have to use to activate them?

Edit: I'm using this metabolic end product ^^

Yeah, it is possible. Since Deus Ex is such an old game, it only supports Left & Right click and middle button. All the newest games also have support for mouse button 4 and 5.

To be able to use those thumb buttons you need to do the following:

1. Install the software from a CD that came with the mouse
2. Open the mouse control center and look for the button options. There you can bind mouse button 4 and 5 to act as some of your keyboard characters. For example you could bind mouse button 4 to Ctrl and mouse button 5 to Alt. When you bind something like medkit for Ctrl, you can select it by pressing mouse button 4.

I have a five button mouse, Logitech G5.

I don't use the thumb buttons in Deus Ex though ;-)

Hope this helped you...

ParseRightClick|OnRelease in front of all that is completely useless.
