I would say back to topic, job done, a similar topic exists on RTK and players are discussing this on servers, I think/hope players will try to give balanced good games in future.

It may mean that admins have to stay logged in during a game. I found it necessary two days ago, people leaving and joining almost every minute.

That comment is unfortunate and doesn't represent the truth. He's already got elite skill in playing the victim, this comment doesn't give a truthful picture of what happened. FGS actually defended him against [A]lex.

We spent a long time trying to answer his questions, specifically tried to let him realize why others did not respect him, Spaz gave him good advice which was seconded by Nobody, HDD21 chose to ignore EVERY piece of advice. He tried to map, run masterservers, run servers, code, admin, the only thing he never tried to do properly, was learn to play DX.

Let's recap.

1. He released a mod with virus
2. He multi-accounted on many forums.
3. If someone warned him not to double space or double post, his response was to double post and double space.
4. If someone warned him not to speak to Alex, he spoke to Alex
5. If someone warned him not to spam mapping forums with unfinished beginner maps, what did he do? Spammed that forums with maps.
6. It appears he lied about Alex to some degree.
7. He abused his admin priveleges on [E] forums.
8. He constantly created mods and forums that already existed.
9. He asked for advice, if he didnt like the advice he accused sympathisers as he is now doing on RTK forums.
10. He created a server that was rife with admin abuse, for want of better words he created a breeding ground for nubbery, those new players bred on his server then caused problems on other servers.
11. He was basically extremely unco-operative, stubborn, dishonest.
12. The only thing he ever apologized for was the mod with the virus.

And probably a ton of other crap I forgot, including abusing the alias system. He has a dynamic IP and he knows it.

The most telling thing about him was... that if a clan banned him, he would proxy and flood forums, multi-account, basically not listen at all to what was being said, or consider his ban. He has done this on FGS and A forums. He enjoys being a pain in the ass and appears to enjoy receiving pain, or not avoiding it let's say. Alex was of course wrong to consider illegal methods to remove him, but I can well understand Alex's pain in having to deal with this guy. Your comment Hitman, although it is apparently not intentional on your part, is, pardon the expression, fcuking stupid.

Personally speaking the thing that annoyed me the most about HDD, besides ignoring good advice, was that he created servers which took newbs into an environment where only newbs played. Consequently these newbs did not interface with skilled or experienced players and there was as a result some mayhem this year on OTHER servers.

It is his stubbornness and uncooperativeness that makes ppl want to hate.

Great response and it was dastardly that deletted archives in the fileshare.

I agree, it was a very well put together argument. The thing is (sorry about this Kothar, but I have to put my two cents in here), HDD21 is just a 14yo kid. And all kids never listen to their elders and betters advice. In a few years time, he'll see that he should have listened to the advice given him. By then of course (as is the case now), it'll be too late.

I'll shut up now, before Koth warns/bans me.

It's hard to make a newb believe you, but trying to be Alpha clan in your first year of DX will get no respect. You need to learn to play the game first. And it's true he is trying to throw punches, but in fact he is kicking.

I don't blame him for trying, but running servers in the way they did just helped to breed a bunch of noobs who now cause problems on other people's servers. Those kids should have spent more time on the established and busy servers, learned from the admins and players, before they tried to compete for players.

he had good intentions but he needed to mature a little more and get more experience with the game and the community. If he had taken the time to look at everything this community has done and what it still needs he could have actually helped the community.

like i said, good intentions he is just misguided.
