Re: Serious question
Yeah, if we don't end up getting the 7300GT we've got an eye on, then we'll look into those. Main problem is they're so damned expensive, and I only have AGP (NO HAET), so trying to find them is like looking for a throwing knife in an all weapons stack, if you get my drift.Hollow wrote:i'd say go for the 7600 GT 512 GDDR3, and pick up a 450w minimum PSU, cheap as chips they are, i got a 550w CiT psu for less than 30 quid

Re: Serious question
It is wise not to spend much on that pc skil. you can always see if someone is selling used one. risky deal maybe, but given the amount of cash and the age of the computer one can consider it. try not to upgrade your pc too much because soon you realize you shouldve started with motherboard. been there done that.

Yeah, aware of this, but we're not upgrading the pc. Only want to upgrade the damn graphics capability.Hidden wrote:It is wise not to spend much on that pc skil. you can always see if someone is selling used one. risky deal maybe, but given the amount of cash and the age of the computer one can consider it. try not to upgrade your pc too much because soon you realize you shouldve started with motherboard. been there done that.

Re: Serious question
The last PC I bought was some really nice deal.
9400GT 512MB
2GB RAM
Dual Core 5050e
250GB HDD
Hanns G HW191A Wide Screen 16:10 19"
Genius Mouse and Keyboard
All parts of the PC are black <3
All this for 170Euros. I bought it in May and it was purchased by the original owner in March. I still have the warranty for all parts of the equipment.
