In a year? I read that a single eruption can cool the earth as long as a decade or even a century. There was one that caused a decade of cool weather in 1800s, and I think there was a smaller but still massive one in the 70s somewhere.

Chinese is right, Global climate change is a more precise title.

Nature is so volatile that anything can happen. While we know that our temperature is changing because of different factors, next supermassive eruption may take place anytime anywhere bringing the next ice age upon us, just like that, out of the blue. Recent scientific discoveries have proven time and time again that while we can spot big chunks out in space on a colision course with Earth, we are pretty much clueless as to what is happening beneath our own feet.

When I read comments on the webpage of our most popular and leading newspaper (not yellow pages) it would appear that the conspiracy theory fanatics are running rampant, and just about everything is blamed upon jews, from USA attacking iraq or the nato kosovo bombings..

Frightening thing is that their comments get voted up rather than down, I suppose people dont really like jews, not only muslims.

jews and muslims are religiose ppl, that have nothing to do with israelis

This attitude of "let's not mix up jews with israelis" is the cause why radical political parties get stronger and stronger. Noone dares to say what he really thinks. Let's just admit that 80% of Israel population is jewish. And frankly I don't have anything against them either, I'm just stating pure facts.

religion and politics are more together than here thats sure but dont call israelis as jews ... israelis are jews, muslims, christs and some other ppl like germany or other lands
