lol 5 years in the clan and only a moderator, you just didn't work hard enough Chin.
I accidentally pressed, I had my weapon equipped!
Ye some accidents will happen no doubt. Better get some insurance.
It's ok, next time you sit in prison and I maptest in peace.
I still haven't fully tested the map, crime is a problem to some maptesting, especially followers etc.

THREE BUGS

The stairs in the magazine shop are too small, player's head hits the roof.

The left side of the LP compound building is a bug, you can walk down there and get trapped in a 32x32 hole.

Can not use wooden stairs in canal area. 3 NPC's always standing on the garbage and blocking the stairs.

MINOR

Texture errors on rails in slum.

I think you know, but not every player is being shown in the playerlist/scores.

Also some players seem able to get 30,000 credits within minutes of joining.

Also heard the suggestion, that SWAT should be able to see cloakers.

Also, I can jump from 1st house's balcony to roof and get stuck if I was a real idiot and jumped off that roof.

Yes, that's a problem in my gametype apparently. I rushed it up and hadn't checked much. I see no reason why it wouldn't list, however I'll look onto it as I experienced this way early on the server.

The gametype is meant to be temporary by the way, Nobody is making a patch to fix/remove the log-spam so we can have a friendly endless server without logspam.. I'm hoping he does that soon so we don't need a gametype for a modification that's goal was to be independent and not with a gametype! :-D

About the money problem, we know what's the exploit. It's going to be sorted soon enough I suppose. I think Chin has talked to Cozmo.. hopefully there is a whole new coding-patch done.

Are you spying on us? I remember getting stuck in a closed area behind some subway gates and it was fixed the next day.

Some of the bigger bugs I noticed:

When someone leaves the game their bank account is still active. When a person joins and happens to get that person's player ID, they take over that person's account.

Somehow people can get lots of credits in a short time. Someone even gained so much that it turned into a negative number.

If you try to buy an aug that you already have or the slot is unavailable it takes your money anyway.

That bug was found the first minute the server was hosted by zXc. Myself and 90 got behind it and got stuck, then I had to arrest him and reconnect myself. :oops:

Not sure what you are referring to Poor, but thx for those 2 points. Basically this thread is to list any work that needs doing. At the moment Chinny is editing, and when he's finished, I'll edit a few things in the slums. I do generally watch players on a new map, because everyone has a different style of play or discovers different things.

I'm wondering if someone changed the server, because stairs were fine yesterday, today none of the stairs are big enough.

RESTPOINT - kills the first player connected, if second player tries to connect to rest point. So player who goes AFK at rest point will be killed by second player and infolink will tell him who "killed" him.

Somehow a player was able to win the match. I guess the server didn't know how to handle a new map, and it crashed. It came back up later and it was on DXMP_Cathedral.

Please resize your pictures before uploading, try using PNG or JPG.

I'll just remove those time and frags thing completely.. I thought of the package more like a modification to quickly change the thing to either time, frags, or endless as the server hoster pleases per map i suppose.

I'll remove time and frags since I think that they are still working but not showing up, meaning that ScoreToWin being 999, it made the server restart after 999 minutes or so.

Can I suggest "Keep it simple". Simple works. Ask Hasharin how he did it perhaps. V2 will lose it's impact otherwise. Since we are still finding and fixing all the mapbugs (and even some more editing too), it would be best not to be adding other new stuff too perhaps?

e.g. all the stairs are too small now, did someone change player character size? I could swear the stairs were ok on Day 1, but now I don't know, did you change something or is it a map error? Best to keep things very simple. Efforts are appreciated, nice try, but a more simple solution is required. I don't understand why we don't just set the server how Hasharin set it, or is that impossible? Or his settings weren't good either?

Endless DM = Endless Default Maps?

Bear in mind, this server has been shouted on Eidos. At least it wasn't shouted on Xfire and Steam yet.

EDIT: maybe what you've done is fine and something else caused it to rotate. I'm guessing hasharin had time-based?
