A shame isn't it, a community full of sad-acts, hypocrits and people who just generally think they're always right..

No offense Random but, you was in a clan full of speedhackers back in 06. This should have been posted years ago. Shame it's coming out when Deus Ex is barely dead. Just like all the new and improved mods such as MiniMTL224-228 and ANNA. We needed those mods years ago. Better late than never I guess. Game probably would be still be kicking if that incident never happened though.

Provide evidence about 12-13 members cheating, or I call your bluff. The players you are calling cheaters include the likes of Clixor, Conceited, Trollied, Ferdvds, et cetera. We had plenty players who struggled to keep 100 fps, myself included.

In the light of what impression I got from your attempt to help DXMP, I must say I am somewhat disappointed by your reasoning already.

You mean going back to your ghetto? So far you've been completely useless in this thread, not staying on the topic in the slightest nor even understanding what adults are talking about.

This thread is just fine, we see how different players and community members feel about cheats in dxmp.

As things are right now Hanfling's Launcher for Deus Ex seems to fix the game speed, but it needs to be tested by more people than just few people. Me and clix spent a while trying to bug up Hanfling's Launcher and it kept weapon fire rates seemingly normal. Alex already found out what method of fixing the speed Kentie's Launcher and hanfling's launcher use. Ideally we can provide a crude fix for the community by forcing players to use patched exe on certain servers that want fair game.

He's referring to Ken, since Ken has a disgusting ignoramus-type attitude on a good day. Notice he's pretty much ducked me now since i wasted him in my last post with fact over ken-fiction, and just to stop predictability from happening he would have come out with the "nothing you said i could comprehend fear because your off topic and have problems (or something along those lines as usual)" guys nothing but a hypocrite and a liar trying to say i speed hack now? where was that claim during Hivemind when i clearly stated I've used Kentie's launcher since before you even heard of it, and my core optimizer has been live since 2006, your a mug, did my leaving Hivemind overnight after your awful attitude hit a deep spot or, because during my spell there you seemed quite the happy fella after i told you this information.

You've fooled some right muppets in the community, to me and any sane person you just come across as a complete wasteman.

Calm down Lil' fella, you're repeating the behavior i criticized UnevenBrainment for, at least read a topic first to see where's its going, otherwise you're just looking to brand yourself an arsehole, a dumb stoner? lol, thats deep bro... yea i smoked alot last year when i went through some personal crap, i didn't think not sharing any with you would bring such a retarded reaction, credibility before posts, stick by this in future.

Ken alike many other players haven't been truly legit since god knows how long, heck a medbind takes you out of that cateogry too, it definately makes a difference since HeY enlightened me about it in late 2006, and i had my best 3 years of deus ex thereafter.

Also, Alvin, i wouldn't let it bother you, just think atleast you ain't like him, infact most ain't, this forum is a well respectful part of DXMP, as is the FGS clan.

If this was posted in 2006 I would of provided all the evidence you would need but, that is the past. Why are you disappointed? Cause I stated my opinion? Anyways I do find speedhacking an issue in Deus Ex Multiplayer.

Sent you a PM asking for proof. Quite interested and will be taking it seriously. I think you can start uploading material about our clan members in alphabetical order to make things easier to follow.

@Fear, for the record, I said such activities were not an excuse for behaviour.

This level of over ripe paranoia and accusation may. The truth may be that Phantom and such are the clear actual abusers while others are just over optimized players playing only where said advantage is most effective. Anywhere skill becomes a higher determining factor most dont dare to tread even under alias.

Whats a little ironic in ways, is that Ricci has been rather open about his preference of something like 230 FPS? That is speedhack, but so small that it is probably impossible to notice in the heat of the battle. I am also certain that he did not know about it, lest I'd have to admit being very wrong about his character.

Phantom likely used 400-500 FPS (200 fps starts fire rate increase, 500 is 3X faster fire rate) initially, but later resorted to CPU hacks that are easier to control and cannot be blocked by server through netrate caps. Couple other players used 400 FPS as well, and were very easily noticed by others. ~250 is likely too hard to detect as obvious cheating by others.

Other, non-fps related speedhacks are even worse as they can be customized; or automated, sometimes without player having done anything.

Amusing trivia: Papparoach and Controled of [TT] and [BIA] claimed to have 800 fps in DXMP in 2005.
