Brad doesnt bans that easy,are you sure he was the guy who banned you?
I find hard to believe he placed a ban just for playing with gravity rifle.
I ll find out whats going on and and get back at you...
Except that, about RPGs I m mostly on the administration deck (like on RPGv1)
plus the server I intend to install (RPGv2) is mine and chin can still have access if he wishes to
so things are clear as the ice.
Anyway, my intention to host the mod has been set, chin its up to you man.

Why would anyone want to host that massively inferior verison, also you just spawn with guns, it's not an RPG server if people are just treating it like iceworld.

I wasn't aware that MIRK are amongst those idiotic spammers. It does change my view somewhat.
Ruining games with spam as an anti-server tactic is actually just ruining DX, not just that server.
I'm glad Chinny removed the map and server. The whole point of the project was to create a RPG experience that wasn't like previous experiences, i.e. joining a server and being killed before there's any progression, but in the last few weeks that is EXACTLY what the server has become, thanks to some really stupid players.
As mappers we can make changes. Far more ways to recruit yourself into the police. More spawnrooms. We can actually prevent most of the lame activity that happens there.
I'd like to see a ban on a server, mean a ban on every decent server. This would cut the crap by half I am sure. Would also mean all this stupid aliasing won't mean anything, it's the IP that gets you into trouble.

Sadly, some players could get LAMs, LAWs after leaving spawnpoint (I don't know how did they this)
I know Chiny placed some weapons, but most of them are unreachable (e.g. GEP Gun - No-one could pickup, only me)

Unfortunately, if you are haxor, this is possible though.. no matter where the weapons are placed.
This could be even done without further clientside hax.

This isn't going to happen as long as the server hosters don't work together and as long as such insufficient server hosters like gamingdeluxe are used, that are unable to create a proper log history.

Matter is that some issues are not up just to make comments if you dont know how things are.
I had 2 servers to spare and what we already have on dxmp is spawn guns shoot bam dead I wanted to host something different.
I could host all 3 RPG's if chin responded to that but he isnt so I m still waitting and to make things clear he possibly wont give out rpg 3 just yet so I m standing by to host rpg 2 and we ll see about rpg 3 later.
Plus the map is locked so there is no way to price up shotty or remove it!

When I joined there was pistols summoned on the floor, if you didn't do it then someone did. (I was using the name "Harper")
I'd like to see a ban on a server, mean a ban on every decent server. This would cut the crap by half I am sure. Would also mean all this stupid aliasing won't mean anything, it's the IP that gets you into trouble.
We tried this remember, pretty sure FGS opposed it as us acting as a dictatorial super-state.

Not from me! Just saying the collective banning doesn't work as we've tried it.

The point about HDD21, someone tried to ban him on server without any discussion first. It was one person's decision. I mean a proper system. We were being asked to ban someone and at that moment in server, I for one had no idea why.
Servers - well seems we are forced to choose between having "insufficient" logs and having "inability to change" cmd line. I did post a topic on FB about servers, but only GD and CS came up.

GD has progressed you know... I have CMD line changer, how do you think I'm running V3_152 and no smuggler

(without having to ask you lol). It is idiotproof, you enter the map name and it will add the rest of the stuff. Also GD have stated in the past, they can add a line which is impossible to add, if we get stuck totally.
Also it DOES have some kind of log history thing, as I was able to use it to find error. However I don't know its parameters, whether it only records until next crash/stop.
Incidentally I counted 24 servers online this week, that is about 10 more than January I think.
