I think if you make an exploit against MTL210 that unfortunately is illegal.

The EULA included a line stating that no modification will be coded to attack another PC. Also, in most nations in the world, intentionally attacking by network a PC is regarded as CyberTerrorism and treated as a Felony.

Even though I am not an expert, I would say the mod doesn't "attack", but it does cross the threshhold without permission, even though it is aimed at being benefical to the player.

Using DV tactics to beat him.

Well I don't see why I need to install such a thing, those servers were blocked by IGN/gamespy, so what is the problem?

The people already on DXMP.net can see your server, join your server and come back to GameSpy. The mod places the moved players BACK on Gamespy, that's what it does. You're right, the servers are down, so now is the time to strike back, and get those players back.

To Hitman:

How does it break the EULA? MTL does it, if it is because my mod edits the DX.ini files, you shouldn't use dxmtl either.

Two players can be on different masterservers, but play on same server.

What difference does it make whether a player plays on gamespy or dxmp.net, can you explain?

I think the more masterservers there are, the better.

For 1 its done been explained what the mod does it alters your ini without your knowledge.

Yeah their should be more masterservers as shadowrunner stated.

Someone could make a mod such as MMuserinterface and add the dxmp.net to the list.

The bad thing here is that the owner of this Masterserver wants to control, he has already banned servers from it (All RPG servers), which is obviously a problem. So all the players on DXMP MS can't see any RPG servers.

Also Hitman MTL does that too, yet you use that.

MTL doesn't alter my ini without my knowledge.

Hmm...really? Deja Vu has removed all RPG servers?

interesting cos Wunderland is still up, DXSG will not be messed with, it's augs... and last time I looked I saw Cath Terra, sounds like you mean to say he removed all the servers with maps that have no lighting, with admins that god, and removed all servers where players dont actually RPG.

It's nothing that Alex wasn't trying to do...
Alex was using unrcrash to Crash Dogny's and Deja Vu's servers.
EDH posted that proof today, admin wisely removed it since FGS is a clan forum, not a community forum, I expect EDH will post elsewhere.
I still dont trust anyone here, no-one is convincing me they know how to run DX...except Icho and Destroyer Zero

No Alpha closed their servers on departure from DX.

HDD's was blocked too. But regardless, it means that the owner of the MS is deliberately limiting players to certain servers, by removing others.
