Serious question
Re: Serious question
i think it would be better if you browsed Ebay for a custom built pc maybe, new or used, 95% of the time custom built pc's are at good prices because those who build them get all the parts at wholesale price

Re: Serious question
Had my Dell for about five years now, it's practically prehistoric.
Re: Serious question
wait until it becomes stone fossil then you can make good money out of it

@Skil:
Newer cards for AGP are quite hard to get. The nVidia 7xxx series card you want to buy is quite "old". ATI still brings out recent AGP graphics cards from time to time.
I suggest you to buy this HD 3850 one.

ATI HD3850 Chip
512 MB GDDR3
Direct3D 10.1
On the other hand you should get some money to get rid of that old piece of debris you have standing around in your room.

Re: Serious question
Ta Hawk, I'm going for the 7xxx because that's as much as the mobo will support m8.

Re: Serious question
You haven't even spent a second for looking up ATI cards (as your list only features nVidia GPUs. And they're really old...). If you really want that 7xxx series card so badly, its your thing. If you're unhappy in the end: Don't complainSkilgannon wrote:Ta Hawk, I'm going for the 7xxx because that's as much as the mobo will support m8.

I like the 7 series, unfortunately my 7800gt on my old PC blew up in a lightning storm so I'm gonna have to get a new one. It's not the best but you can still play just about every game imaginable on it, as long as you don't mind lowering the settings a little.
The 7's are AGP right?

That means I have to check, and I really can't be bothered.
Last time I opened my PC I got blood everywhere
