i think it would be better if you browsed Ebay for a custom built pc maybe, new or used, 95% of the time custom built pc's are at good prices because those who build them get all the parts at wholesale price

@Skil:

Newer cards for AGP are quite hard to get. The nVidia 7xxx series card you want to buy is quite "old". ATI still brings out recent AGP graphics cards from time to time.

I suggest you to buy this HD 3850 one.
http://www.alternate.eu/html/productDet ... tno=JBGSM1

ATI HD3850 Chip
512 MB GDDR3
Direct3D 10.1

On the other hand you should get some money to get rid of that old piece of debris you have standing around in your room.

@topic: My PC specs for interested ppl:
CPU: AMD Athlon64 X2 6000+ (2x3ghz)
Ram: 4 GB DDR2-800 (GEiL Black Dragon Gaming Series, 4-4-4-12 timing)
Mainboard: ASUS M2N-E
Graphics: ASUS EHD3870 512 MB GDDR3 (Overclocked: GPU clock: 777mhz -> 860mhz; Mem clock: 1126mhz -> 1251mhz; Scythe Musashi fan)
PSU: ThermalTake 750W
HDDs: 400GB + 640GB Western Digital
DVD: Pioneer 18x DVD burner
Network: Killer Network Interface Card K1
Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster 2343BW 23"" (max resolution: 2048x1152, dynamic contrast)
I spent more than 1400

Ta Hawk, I'm going for the 7xxx because that's as much as the mobo will support m8.

You haven't even spent a second for looking up ATI cards (as your list only features nVidia GPUs. And they're really old...). If you really want that 7xxx series card so badly, its your thing. If you're unhappy in the end: Don't complain ;-)

I like the 7 series, unfortunately my 7800gt on my old PC blew up in a lightning storm so I'm gonna have to get a new one. It's not the best but you can still play just about every game imaginable on it, as long as you don't mind lowering the settings a little.

The 7's are AGP right?

There are PCI-E and AGP versions on the market.
