Isnt the GT230 the non-integrated version?
So that wouldn't be alble to fit in a laptop?

I'm drunk and only know about 9800> cards ATM so ye

BTW, just got DX10 on a 64bit OS.
Turns out an 8800GT 512 can run Crysis on full spec.

he's talking about the M (mobile) versions of those graphics. I've got a GF 220M 1GB in my laptop. Works well.


bioshock:
played the first one recently, totally hated it. not what I expected. It's actually a dumb shooter with some rpg elements added. THAT'S supposed to be the "system shock 3"?! also I lol'd all the time at the "morality" elements. not going to try bioshock 2 if it's more of the old metabolic end product.

mass effect:
probably the next big thing on the list "awesome games I've couldn't play cause of crap old hardware (FX5200 haha)". going through ME1 and 2 is going to take me months

Considering renting Mass Effect for my PC
Mirrors edge had a HORRIBLE story, and it was really badly put together, and unfeesibly linear - I really enjoyed it though, it was so fresh and fairly immersive too. I loved the origionality. Running past a policeman, jumping and turning in the air, before diving on the floor backwards and slugging him in the head with a few pistol rounds is amazingly satisfactory - especially when you accidentally dive onto a train track and get flattened in the process D:

Mirror's Edge being in 1st person is what makes it awesome, seeing the movements of your hands and feet and stuff makes it more fun to play, as if you're the female sex organ running about. Nah, just completet Bioshock 2 and its awsome.
The graphics are the same, but i still looks better than some games nowdays.
Its fun to play the game, but its not realy a challenge.
Vita Chambers are still ingame, so Bioshock 2 is still too easy.

so mirror's edge is a shooting game aswell?

Yes and no. You can nab weapons off hostile cops, but the only ammo you get is whatever's in the gun, plus different weapons affect your speed. The bigger the gun, the slower you go, and the lower you jump, to the point of not being able to at all. Still, being surrounded by half a dozen PK's, grabbing a machine gun and blasting them all to kingdom come is immensly satifactory. Especially if you just got that machine gun by introducing some guy's face to your knee.
