Re: GODZ Server. Do you remember?

I didn't know that!
I realized this theory was true... there are people who have bought the game but havent connected yet.
Also there is overwhelming evidence on Facebook that there are probably hundreds of such players.
I am guessing the average is 1-3 years, but some people like myself even longer.
I think it doesn't entail much work to make a simple plan and execute it between the community.
I think very few people realize that we can actually change the rate of people joining and leaving DX very easily.
Also not everyone is on same page. EDH's council idea is lovely, spreading info can't hurt. The group can have a website, which all maintain, its a neutral site again, but it's going to answer everything you need to know to move from DX3 to DXMP.
Also doom-mongers can go *love* themselves, start banning people who can't ever say anything positive. I am serious.
Also I question those people who can post every day, but can't spare 1 hour a week for a server game. If someone like that laughs at efforts to ressurect DX, ban em too.
Also there are vintage games communities. They have group plays and reviews. I visited a couple and again it was clear they didnt really understand the game's capabilities, non lethal, multiplayer etc. People just need pointing in the right direction.
But definitely we are wasting huge opportunity, a lot of people must have joined this year and not bothered again. If even 10% of those could be given a decent game... I believe we could easily be back up to 40-80 players online easily before DX3. 400 is not impossible, it just needs some energy.
