And having an emo Joker was a terrible move, I genuinely preferred the original Batman with Michael Keaton.

Joker wasn't emo, he was crazy and a liar. I didn't like old Batman movies because of the terrible predictibility like many other movies from back then and the ridiculous uniforms. At least here you keep facing surprises, awesome acting and more.
