Yes I did write to IGN about the fake server. I personally feel its a breach of IGN rules.

I did not give permission to anyone to modify my files even IF its just one or two text lines. It started with that and where would it eventually end, considering Alex stated that his logs contained the abilty to format someones computer.

Not only was the fake server moved but so were all the other servers residing on the same ip address.

Look at the attached file.

Who ever is responsible, tough. Sorry to those who may have paid to have servers hosted on dxmp.net.

A few things cross my mind.
1. Dejavu does own dxmp.net and is responsible for the crap thats been going on.
2. Dejavu does own dxmp.net and someone hacked his servers.
3. Dejavu doesnt own dxmp.net and some other idiot is having fun at the expense of a lot of people.

I must say that some of you have let on what you are capable of in the sense of "hacking" etc.

Hi Leenuks, DejaVu most certainly does own dxmp.net, I whois'ed dxmp.net, and found out that it uses PrivacyProtect.org to cover up the details, so I just emailed them, and they gave me all data. The personal data was incorrect, but the e-mail address was real - It was DejaVu's.

Im very careful when mentioning names to others or in public without seeing or knowing the actual facts personally. Even then Its only hearsay

If it really is his server and he is responsible its only a matter of time before he may be looking at bars. Whoever it is, thats where you will be heading sometime in the future.

I cant believe that with the information some of you may have, that nothing has been done about this properly.

Has anyone offered proof, if any at all, to the authorities. Its take me two emails and some phone calls to start the ball rolling.

For now its just a waiting game untill enough ip's are compiled and traced to the origin.

You think I didn't attempt such thing? I wanted to collect IPs at the time dxalpha was offline, I asked forum owners to give them, but they didn't cooperate.

Noone cooperated while I tried to fix this, I made a mod that turns dxmp.net back into gamespy.com, but noone installed it.

It's really disappointing, this community.

1.I passed the info to you and Zora, that you needed to fix this.
2. how did FGS not co-operate?
3. We TESTED the mod for you, even though you posted my logs,
4. I STILL gave you admin to FGS server so that you could test the mod.
5. FGS took a neutral stance, the fact we chose to do so was our choice.

I'm talking about now and here

One person cooperated, and I can say it wasn't FGS. And I'm mostly talking about SOLUTIONS here, as in, the mod I created.

yea both Alex and Deja break rules, both guys crashed servers using unrcrash... Alex you aint Superman saving the community...

Leenuks and DZ and FGS actually seem to be the ones who care about rules, principles, "morals", and values...

FGS did co-operate to the full, we didnt ban you, kick, ever, except on forums for two hours, we passed the info, we let you test on our server, I think we did more than anyone in the beginning, to make sure that both sides were given a fair chance.

Respect, all players, clans, etc...

Do you have the mod installed right now, on your server?
The FGS server isn't blocked on DejaVu's MS, thus it would be great if you would've installed the mod. Did you install it, or not?

The FGS server is not blocked most likely because Deja Vu respects the fact that FGS tried to make peace and hear both sides of the story and run community servers that he wished to donate. Also it is probably not blocked because we are not running your mod. A server up with some 0-aug community members online is better than a server with mod, but blocked I feel. It is Deja's attempt at being reasonable, he KEEPS HIS WORD, he does not attack 0-aug again and there is peace between auggers and Wunderland.

Also you have to consider the bad blood between [A] and [FGS] recently. It still feels like [A] are holding a gun to [FGS]'s head. Like a rottveiller dog, over this mod we must install, We are not a sub clan of [A] and never were, but [A] persisted in treating as such, even when we were admin on our own server etc.

[A] is dead, so I don't understand why you are spending hours here on FGS forums telling lies...

We are unlikely to install any mod which breachs regulations. That includes MMusercontrol, if it does breach regulations. Also that would be same for certain versions of AdvBan.

I live in the UK. I believe very strongly, that banning and exclusion creates criminals. And I think its very dangerous to play God or the cops, especially if you are not even 18 years old. Leenuks and DZ are doing and saying the right things in my opinion. You are not saving DX, if your solutions are no better than your enemy. And you are breeding a culture of vigilante here. Let the law handle such matters, enjoy your retirement. Whether I agree with the law is another matter, but ALL will respect it.

Then why does he block all RPG servers? He blocked mine for hosting the mod, but he also blocked HDD21's server for hosting RPG.

You can't install the latest 2 versions anyways.

My server is now offline, I took it down, but do you see HDD21's server on the DXMP.net list?

Do you see ANY rpg server on dxmp.net?

I don't, thus he banned ALL rpg servers.
