Well we have people working, But as mentioned, Information is on a Need-to-Know basis. Any progress is known by the right people. Also I've been writing story boards, drawing up plans and writing Dialog... so ye... work is getting done.

*love* you DJ!
*loving* breaking vows of silence isnt cool brotha
Anyway there's not gonna be a forum, I've asked Jima this several times but he refuses to see my point.
I reckon communication is gonna be very annoying.
Never the less I look forward to working for this mod lolz

Forums would be extremely hard to keep any sort of information cap on. We're keeping just about everything under wraps.

A forum would be dead simple to keep information closed. Forums closed and invisible to anyone but the mod developers. Unless you're talking about trust issues?

o_O How do you name a board, forum and topics for a Project you're not willing to let the name of out? How about keeping an information gap between Echelons of members? Or better yet, Keeping an information cap on the identity of members themselves? Work displayed is for the Creator, The Project lead, and the Project Manager only... if its posting where someone can keep it, its already exposed. A forum that can keep all of those standards would be too much a hassle to Moderate and maintain.

Code: Select all
Name = Secret Project
Forum:
|
v
Category Data Entry:
|
v
Mapping, coding, sound, textures, writing.
|
|
Category Managment:
|
v
Creator, Project Lead, Project Mangement
User Groups: Mappers, Coders, Sound devs, Texture Artists, Writers, Mangers, Leaders, Creators
Names are based on what you gave me in your post. Data entry groups would need to be able to talk to each other anyway, as for example, Mapper A might need a texture from Texture Artist B to apply to his/her freshly modelled building. Could easily be knocked out on forumotion forum builder inside a couple of hours. I can do it if you want, I also have another possible avenue, but I'd have to look into it and talk to certain people first....
EDIT: Keeping members identity secret would be hard, but just giving the link out to team members would be the best you could do. You could also make the working areas private, and later if necessary a public section where people interested can discuss the mod and other metabolic end product, but that would be awhile out...
