Good videocard :D Btw, if it's a new pc, why did u buy a HD4870? U could buy a HD6850 1GB on it's price (and u could run it in DX11 mode)
This card is about 100% stonger than 4870, and they have got same price (in Hungary, but I think it's same in Germany and UK)

Note to self: Never post the details of your freshly purchased gear, unless you're ready to be outsmarted by MUCH BETTER OFFERS. Always. There are always better offers for the same money :3

Why does noone ever consider the possibility that this gear might be a gift or stolen? :-D

The entire pc was a bargain.

Has an intel core2 quad cpu Q9550 @ 2.83 ghz, 8gb ram ddr2, and this hd4870 sonic dual edition which, to my (limited) knowledge still has a good overclocking ability
For just €250
I was content with the fact that I may have to upgrade my card within 2 years for that price lol
I don't care much for DX11 and I think it will be a while yet before DX11 becomes a must for games

Also,
I usually do get my hands on stolen computers/laptops, got a few in the basement actually...
But they're not even close to gaming pc's :-D
The best one I got of a steal was with a 8600GT video card

Vista has ridiculusly high requirements for what it has to offer, Win7 is better in all terms

edit: I'm playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 with high graphics great fps on my shitty laptop <3

I'm not surprised since CoD:MW3 is optimized for XBOX 360 and the likes. So the graphic sucks. If you tell me, you can run Battlefield 3 with high settings ... Well that'll be much cooler.

I thought it's just the same as MW2 and I still liked it.. although not that easy to tell the difference between these games with good graphics as I rarely play games at all :P

You'd be able to tell the difference between CoD and BF3 on highest settings :-D

I really don't like Vista, it's the worst so far for Deus Ex. SDK has a habit of not rebuilding maps built in XP. Also when I'm playing HL2, DX, HL1, any game at all, i can get moments of freeze or shitty fps, even though my pc spec is considerably better than previously. Maybe I need more ram, but I just smelled shitty from the word "go".

Has anyone played black ops. The map I saw wasn't anything special.
